Kissing

We all do it, some more regularly and diversely than others do, but most people are guilty of committing the act of ‘kissing’ at least a few times in their lifetime. It is as common as sex but generally goes down better in public seeing as nudity is not a kissing necessity.
For those of you not accustomed to this act of showing affection due to living in a cave for the greater part of your life, I have found a site just for you:

Probably the most interesting site I found whilst Googleing ‘kissing’ was: ‘Kissen Garden’ - http://kiss.ksanlab.com/ where, for some odd reason, people plant fruit in trees for other people to kiss… Anyone can kiss your fruit thus making it grow. Why exactly I do not know, but what the hell, I planted a fruit! You can find it at http://kiss.ksanlab.com/fruit-226-10.html or on ‘Hectare 226’ – the red pear-like thing in the middle of the screen. So go and plant a Kissing Fruit and spread some love! In addition, DO NOT forget to kiss mine you bastards!

Some interesting facts about Kissing I found on Wikipedia:

SundayScribblings

I have been trying to get some writing done over the past few days and have discovered that writer’s block is not only a fictional phrase used to describe laziness… Trying to find a cure for this seems like a main cause for this condition however seeing as the more you struggle to get over the symptoms, the more severe it becomes.

In this search of a cure, I have discovered this site, http://sundayscribblings.blogspot.com, which posts a weekly topic for writing inspiration (particularly for blogs). I am not sure if this might help me decipher the problems surrounding the plot of my novel I am writing at the moment, but hopefully it will encourage me to post more regularly on this site.

It works like this: once a week the owners of SundayScribblings sets a topic, which seems to usually only consist of a single word, which you use as inspiration for a blog posting on your own blog. You then post a comment on their site under the topic stating that you have participated and they then add a link to your blog entry for other participants to review.

Ok so it’s kinda boring and a little corny (especially when you see the topics) but what the hell, don’t have anything better to do.

This week’s topic is “Kissing” so let us see in what way I can rape that one into something remotely interesting…

Realities of the New Year

2007 is well in the works and so the holiday season is dead and buried - along with moldy Christmas cake and rejected New Years resolutions. It is time to get back to reality, traffic, 9to5’s and slaving away for a living until the end of the year comes round again and we repeat the cycle. God, reality is harsh!
